A Long Week.....

This week has been long. We had lots of fun at the Christmas Parade Tuesday night.. My friends live right on Main Street and have a Huge Front porch. They always have an OPEN House, with hot cider, hot cocoa and goodies on parade night.... We watch the parade come down Main Street, from their front porch, then go in to warm up..... It was freezing outside. I took my kids and a neighbors kid.. We each had our own comforter to wrap up in, in addition to caps and gloves.... I was still freezing... I was so glad for the hospitality of my friends, Bill & Sarah... Thanks, You TWO!
That was fun, but had consequences....

My son and I both were home sick yesterday.. I couldn't talk and he had a slight fever. Of Course, He was better by noon, and I could tell too. I didn't feel good at all. He was bored..I put him to work, folding some clothes. That lasted about 2 minutes( He's 12)... I am glad he is better. I felt the same this morning, while he and Kristen were getting on the bus. I couldn't talk above a whisper..
I went and got a shot this morning( Sinus Cocktail, they call it). By lunch time, I was feeling much better and able to talk again..
I've sort of got a headache now though.. It is past 11pm and my bedtime...
I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday.. The holidays are a BAD time to be sick...I have too much to do.. No time to be sick...
I guess I should double up on the vitamin C and exercise...

Maybe I'll have more to blog about soon..

Take Care, Peeps and have a good weekend!

Nice photo. December is insane around here. I USED to want to get married in December. I changed my mind.
