My Sweet Momma

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts. My Sweet Precious Momma passed away yesterday evening. I don't have any arrangements yet. My sister is making them and will probably call sometime this morning. Please continue to pray for us. The children and I are going to drive to Texas. My daughter, Kristen is sick with a cold, but I took her to the doctor yesterday for medicine. She should be fine soon.
I plan on writing a journal about my Momma. I received some beautiful poems and thoughts in her honor.I want to put them on a blog and in a scrapbook.
I got a scrapbook kit last Saturday and My daughter and I have 2 pages in it. It's in honor of Momma.

Love and hugs to my sweet friends,

Stephanie

I found this poem by Marian Jones that I thought was so beautiful:

Mother's Hands

Hands that rocked the cradle from the moment of my birth
Their tender touch remembered by those still on this earth
Soft as silk, those hands that taught me how to pray
Banishing childhood fears, they soothed each one away

When I grew much older, and troubles came my way
Those hands caressing mine did more than words could say
Mothers hands were gentle, they're missed so very much
I'd give the world to feel once more, their warm and tender touch

Those hands were full of comfort, now they lie at rest
But memory holds them close to the ones they served te best.

Oh, I am SO sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I hadn't been to your blog probably in the last week, so I didn't know what was going on.
I can only imagine what a difficult time this is for you and your family. Please know that you are in my prayers!
Remember the good times and lean on God's love.
