Happy Birthday, Tracy

My dear friend and co-worker, Tracy's birthday is today. I would like to wish her a very Happy Birthday.
I am at home sick today with a cold . I've been coughing , sneezing, sore throat etc..

We went to the play"Steel Magnolia" last night. It was very good. I enjoyed it. It lasted three hours, but I really didn't notice that it was long, because the show was very good. I want to rent the movie again.. My kids have never seen the movie and they want to also..

A local furniture plant in Pontotoc burned yesterday. That means about 800 people no longer have a job now. Thank goodness, no one was hurt, but this will be a blow to our local job market. We are happy that the Toyota plant is coming in 2010, but that seems like such a long time from now..

I hope all of you have a wonderful Wednesday.. I'll be here at home, trying to get over whatever sickness this is. I know that the weird weather plays havoc on everyones health..

Bunches of hugs!

Good Afternoon Stephanie,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to your co-worker and friend, Tracy. I'm sorry to hear you are sick. I do hope you get to feeling better soon. The School called me this morning and I had to go get our oldest daughter. She was running a little fever. I brought her home and gave her some Ibuprofren. She has been laying around all afternoon. I hope she gets better and I don't have to take her to the doctor. I had read about the fire in Pontotoc on Laura's blog earlier this morning. That is such a sad thing to happend especially this time of year. I'm praying that they will get some kind of help or get another job. Yes, 2010 does seem like a long way off, but it will be here before you know it. Time does fly by tho. We had some freezing rain here yesterday, but nothing major. This morning the temperature at one time was 18 degrees. It has warmed up to 32 degrees now. Take care my friend and get some rest. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hi Mississippi Songbird,
Happy Valentines Day to you and your family. I hope and pray that you get well soon. I'm sorry for the family of those who lost their jobs because of the fire that hit their factory.
I hope they can recover very soon. Thanks for the post. God bless you and your family always.

Sorry to hear that you are sick. HOpe you get to feeling better. Yeah, Steel Magnolias is a favorite of mine too. Did you see Drew on American Idol last night? He didn't make it to the top 24. Drew told them that was okay, now he wouldn't miss turkey season.lol That is soooooo like Drew. I do hope that he makes in the music industry. Tlhe rumors are floating that there was 3 seperate fires and they all started at the same time. I imagine we won't ever know the truth. This fire has been a terrible blow to our town. There is one thing about living here in Pontotoc, everyone pulls together and we will survive. Thanks for the prayers. Hope you and yours have a blessed Valentines Day and hope you get over this crud.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you feel better soon. Our one daughter had that along with the achy body. It lasted about a week or longer. She still sounds terrible when she talks.

Sorry you don't feel well on Valentine's Day. Maybe you can celebrate this week-end. We don't even get one another a card anymore, although I did fix him his favorite breakfast this morning, fried mush with soft eggs.

Hi Stephanie,

We've been enroute from NY to NV these past few days and I haven't caught up with you. So much has happened in your life. First of all, I will be praying for your husband's job. We know God is control, it's just sometimes difficult to hang onto.

Secondly, how terrible about the furniture factory. I will be praying about that also. Some days I feel as if I should be on my knees all day. Lately I find myself praying more and more. There is so much hurt going on around us. We do serve an amazing God though, don't we? And I'm so thankful that He has a plan.

Okay, enough from me. Have a wonderful Happy Valentine's Day and feel better soon.
