The Map

A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby. She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, 'Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today.'After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. 'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is apicture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together.'

Hi Stephanie,

That is a sweet story, and I'm glad you shared it. I'm also glad you are all okay. I hope and pray we don't get anymore weird weather. Today was a nice day, not that warm, but pleasant.

Just wanted to say "Hi," and have a good night.

Hugs,

Renie

Good Morning Stephanie,
That is a beautiful story. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. We are doing okay here. I am just enjoying my time with my DH. Hopefully things will get back to normal next week and I'll start posting again. I have been watching the news on our local t.v. station and watching and seeing all of the devastation from up in the hills and finally last night I broke down and started crying. They are having a Pack a Pickup today in Jonesboro and we went last night to our local Dollar General Store and bought a few supplies. I'm taking them to Jonesboro today. That is a great feeling to be able to help someone like that in need. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

What a sweet story, with sooo much truth to it. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad you are having some nice weather. We leave for Nevada on Tuesday. Although our weather hasn't been really bad, it has been weird and NO sunshine to speak of. I am so looking forward to sunshine for the next six weeks.

Have a great weekend.
