First of all, Please keep some folks in your prayers.. My blogger friend, Susan over at Indelibly Blogged . She is starting more Chemo treatments.. And also, there are some factories in our small town that are laying off a bunch of people this week and next week. Everyone is bracing for these.. and add Christy ( Miss 1999 ) to the list of prayers because she's been sick..AND Kim at Kim's Place too..
On a lighter note, I have a recipe for Slow Cooker Thursday posted on my Watkins Cooking Blog.. Check it out. It's delicious and would be great for working Moms to put on in the morning, and then when you get home, your house smells like supper..Yum! It looks like it might rain this evening. My son went with the Pep bus to the Girls Basketball Game. It's the finals tonight. He won't be back until late tonight.. I know they should have fun..
My husband got home in the middle of the night, so he has been sleeping most of the day. He is going up to Vermont next week.

I'll add your friends to my prayers too. We all understand sickness but only someone who has been faced with layoffs really understand that. I really feel for the people in your town.

I am trying to catch up with everyone since I didn't visit over the weekend. I was in bed for most of the weekend. I am feeling fairly good for now and I put up a new post and I am out visiting a bit. I will keep your friends in my thoughts and prayers. I will pray the factory only has a slight lay-off. Usually this time of year, things are real slow and right now the Economy isn't what it should be. I wonder why? LOL. Sorry about that, that was so wrong of me. I do hope you will forgive me for that. I checked out your Pork Roast recipe and it sounds good. We don't eat alot of pork around here, but I'm sure I could try it with a beef roast tho. I do hope your Son had a great time at the Basketball game the other night. We got a little Snow here on Friday night. It didn't stick too much because it was mostly a wet Snow. There was a tad bit on the top of our vehicle tho. It was too dark for me to take a picture of it with my Cell Phone Camera. But at least I can say we got some Snow. LOL. I read your previous post and glad you had the day off. Always good to have some time to yourself huh? "PRAISE GOD" your husband has until July on his job. Hopefully things will change between now and then and he can still keep his job. Prayer is very Powerful. I will keep you and your Family in my prayers. Take care my friend and have a great day.
