I Voted!

I'm in Mississippi, so I cast my primary vote today.

Looks like this race is a tight one..We'll see. I'm not going to talk about politics, because I probably would be bad at it.. One thing I always want to remember though, Our right to vote is precious. Don't take it for granted. Get out and vote on voting day! Keep up with it..

I hope all of you have a great day. It's gorgeous weather here.

Bunches of hugs!

Good for you, Stephanie! Voting is a precious right!

Our weather has turned gorgeous as well. And just last week we had some snow, too. Today, I actually planted some leaf lettuce.

Have a nice evening.

Hugs,

Renie

Alright! I think that everyone should be involved in the voting process. I read a report last year that said only about 48% of all Americans voted in elections. I think it is great that this year more people are exercising their basic right to participate. I'm about to check out CNN's election center to see which way Mississippi is voting...:)

I love everything about this primary because the races are so close. The Democrats are still going, but even the Republican race was exciting. Most of the time votes don't really count at this point because the races have been decided. It's wonderful that everyone is getting out to vote.

I always say... no matter who you vote for, just VOTE!! That's what makes America so great! (And also...people who don't vote shouldn't complain! lol)

Yes, everybody must go out and exercise their right to vote. We must be grateful that we have the right to vote. Other countries do not have that right and must bear whoever would sit in the seat of power. Thanks for that relevant post. God bless you all.

Yep I agree our right to vote IS very precious and should not be taken for granted ever. What a contest it's turning out to be. If the one I want doesn't get the Dem nomination I seriously am not sure if I won't vote Repug and I never thought i'd say that.

Good Afternoon Stephanie,
We didn't have to vote here as I think we had our voting day a while back. I do remember going to vote tho. I think our next voting period will be in May. We should all VOTE. I'm like Laura, those who don't vote, don't need to be griping or saying anything. They have just as much right to vote as we do. It's their own fault for not going to vote. We are having a beautiful week here. It is 62 degrees right now and it's suppose to be up near 70 today and in the 70's tomorrow. They are calling for rain on Friday. I sure hope not as we need to get this move over with. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Now that you've done your civic duty, Stephanie, you have the right to say if your candidate doesn't win: "Don't blame me. I voted for _____." :-)

Stephanie,

I, too, don't want to write political commentaries. I just know we need to pray and pray about how we vote in the upcoming election.

You probably have read about the scandal in my state of NY. Please pray for the governor's family as well as the welfare of our state.

Have a great day.

I live in PA where our primary is late in the season. Usually everything is all wrapped up by the time we get to vote. This year though, we're being courted. I had a call inviting me to a Hillary Clinton rally and I'm waiting by the phone for Obama. :)
