Got any plans?

Hello,Sweet Peeps!
I'm off work today and so far, haven't done much except cook breakfast and a load of laundry. I'm planning what I am going to make for Thanksgiving and what I am going to take to relatives. I made some homemade bread loaves. I cooked one yesterday and have 4 in the freezer. They turned out pretty good, except it's not the sweet yeast bread that my Mom used to make.I have been looking in her cookbook, and through some of her loose recipes, but cannot find her recipe for it.. Does anyone know how to make that sweet yeast bread? Do you just add some sugar? I though that the sugar would mess up the rising part. If you know the recipe, please fill me in.. The bread I've made is good, but it is just regular bread.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week ahead. I go back to work tomorrow m then I'll work until noon Wednesday and off the rest of the week.My kids are out of school for the entire week, so my husband will keep them occupied..
Happy Thanksgiving..
Bunches of hugs!

You Are The Stuffing

You're complicated and complex, yet all your pieces fit together.

People miss you if you're gone - but they're not sure why.

I guess I'm just the Mom and GranMom - lol. I thought I would have to go to Texas for the holidays but I got a big surprise last week - they came home with the baby for a few weeks.

I'm kind of glad because I've never been west of Alabama. ..:)

The bread sounds good.

I took the quiz, and I am Mashed Potatoes!

I usually just add more sugar to my bread to make it sweeter. I do have a Sour Dough recipe and starter recipe that makes a sweet bread. It is really good when you drizzle a vanilla flavored icing over the loaves....YUm-YUM!

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving! We did....still eating leftovers, but I love 'em!!!
