I'm at home sick today..

I'm home from work, sick today. It was a nice weekend, but during the night and this morning, I must have caught some sort of bug. Hopefully, it's just a 24 hours thing.. What scares me is when I turn the TV on, they have been talking about that H1N1 flu going around..I hope we don't get that.I have heard it's awful. I hope all of you are ready for the holidays. They will be here soon.
I hope all of you have a healthy wonderful week and Thanksgiving holidays coming up.. My husband will probably be working.. but that's okay.. We will just eat our turkey when he is home...lol
Bunches of hugs...

Feel better soon, Stephanie. From what I understand, there is a lot of sickness going around; colds, bronchitis, etc. My daughter is just getting over bronchitis. Take good care of yourself.

Hope you're feeling better. I don't seem to make it around to all the blogs like I use to, between trying to keep up with the house hold chores and out door mowing and leaves, it doesn't leave a lot of time. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I'm also on FaceBook now, but don't seem to get around to everyone and read on that like I would like to, I mainly read our kids, that way I stay up to date on them. LOL

Also have had two cataract surgeries one in Aug. and one in Oct. Amazing what you can see again, perhaps I should have let my eyes alone, now I see all this dirt and things I was missing before. LOL

Ready for the holiday, NO, but then I never am ready but somehow it comes off smoothly. I don't worry and stew about things like I use to. I do what I can and that's all I can do, if a family member wants it different I figure they can do it. LOL

Yes, you can have your Thanksgiving when you husband is home, who says you have to eat turkey on the fourth Thursday of November? This old family doctor we use to have said they never had turkey, he hated turkey, they always had a big juicy steak.

As for the news on the Swine Flu. I think the mdeia hypes it up a lot. They were saying we had swine flu in 1968, I don't remember it, do you? And if you were around, no doubt you've been exposed to it and don't need the vaccine anyway. Our family has decided NOT to take it. We don't think it's been out long enough to know all the side effects, and let's face it, sometimes the side effects can kill a person. Unless you already have some health problems or breathing problems, I wouldn't take it.

Feel better soon.
