No Ice Please....

The cold front will not move through the region, until Thursday afternoon and evening, with the colder air lagging behind it. The storm system will move east overnight.. I think it will hit mostly above where I live, but we will get some freezing rain..

I've been sick a couple of days and went to the doctor and got a shot. Hopefully it will not get worse with the weather.

The kids and I have been going to the play practices. Our community theatre is doing "Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dreamcoat" We are having a blast at that.. Unfortunately, I can't make tonight's practice because I can hardly talk, much less sing..

Has anyone else had a problem with Spammers leaving comments on their blogs?? Just wondering. Those type of comments are so annoying.. Of course, I preview all my comments.

I hope all of you are having a good January.

Bunches of hugs...

We're hoping that the ice doesn't get that bad here. It's just a waiting game for now!

Spam became a huge problem on my blog. So bad, in fact that I now have to moderate comments on posts older than 10 days. I hated to revert to that, but it had to be done. I was getting way too many spamming comments on older posts. Sucks for loyal readers and true commenters, but it keeps the crap from going live on the blog and being there 'till I can delete it!

Stay warm!

Oh, dear, hope you don't get ice, Stephanie! We're under a winter storm warning tonight but we're to get sleet and snow. Bunches of snow! I hope not, but I'd rather have snow then ice! Still remember last years ice storm. As if I could ever forget it.

Hope you're feeling better, too.

Hugs and prayers,

Renie

Oh, forgot to add that I have never had a problem with spammers, and I have never had to approve comments. Thank goodness for that!

I've had a few spam comments. So, I put validation back on...

Stephanie ~ About two years ago at Christmas, I looked just about like that polar bear, only I was at the bottom of my porch with blood running all over my elbow. One ER visit and 6 stitches later I was good as new, if you call not being able to use your right arm for over a week.. "As GOOD as NEW?" The doctor called me a clutz! But now, I am much more careful when walking off my porch to pick up the newspaper... especially if it is icy out there! Live and learn! What can you expect from a guy who spect the first 5 decades of his life in Orange County, California? ~ jb///

Just getting rain today. It was a mess over the weekend with the snow (just a little) and the ice (too much). We didn't loose power, but nonetheless a scary journey to and from work on Saturday. Be safe and stay warm. Take care of yourself. There are some nasty bugs going around...rest, rest, rest.

Hugs,
Diane
