Hello....

I'm so sorry I haven't been blogging for a little bit. We've had a tragedy in our family. My sister-in-laws adopted son(age two) was killed in a traffic accident in Memphis on Friday. My sister-in-law had been in a previous relationship with the baby's mother, and then soon after the baby was born, they split. The baby's mother still let my sister-in-law have visitation, just as a divorced couple would have.... Anyway.. The baby's mother is in critical condition at the hospital and they don't know if she will survive or not. Please pray for this family.. It looks like the baby had gotten out of his carseat, and the mother was trying to get him back in, when she swerved into the median and came back over and hit another vehicle. The baby was thrown completely out of the vehicle and killed instantly..

Our hearts are broken. I have babysat for him this past summer, while they went 4-wheeler riding. He was the sweetest cutest little boy....

I am trying to catch up on reading blogs too..I apologize for not doing so.. Please have a safe and Wonderful Christmas...

Bunches of hugs and God Bless you and your families..

A Christmas Prayer

Loving Father,

Help us remember the birth of Jesus, That we may share in the song of the angels,

The gladness of the shepherds, And worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world.

Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting.

Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings,

and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children,

and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts,

forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus' sake.

Amen

Hi Mississippi Songbird,
I'm sorry to hear about that tragic accident. Yes I will be praying for the mother for her speedy recovery from the accident and for her spiritual healing and comfort for the loss of her beloved son. Thanks for the wonderful Christmas prayer. It is so touching and really comes from your heart. May your Christmas season be blessed and full of joy. God bless and have a warm and Spirit filled day.
