In God We Trust

I got an e-mail that really alarmed me last night. It said they had left off "In God We Trust" from the new $1 coin.. I went to get one at the bank today. It is true that it is not ON it, but it is engraved on the side of it. That made me feel a little bit better.. However, I feel that one day, it will not be on any of our money. That saddens me..
so.... I will be sending out a correct e-mail, because I did forward that e-mail... if you got one from me... you will be getting a retraction from me...lol
One thing they cannot do.. They cannot take God out of my heart...

I hope all of you have a good day.

I am going to a Hospice Volunteer banquet tonight..

I'm excited...

Bunches of hugs!

I would love to volunteer at a hospice. I am not sure what has kept me from it. I'm going back to work for a few weeks, but after that I will either go the local hospice or volunteer for a jail ministry. I'm not sure where God wants me. Would you pray?

Thanks.

Hi Stephanie,

I'm glad that In God We Trust is on the new dollar coin. I haven't even seen one of those yet.

Have a great time at the Hospice Volunteer banquet!

Hugs,

Renie

Remember how computers were going to make our lives easier? Sometimes I think they just spread panic.

I have received that same email from several people. Your right, they cant take God from our hearts and they cant stop kids from praying in school, silently to themselves.

Stephanie,

I am glad that "In God We Trust" is still on your money. They are trying to take God out of everything, but you are right. They can't take Him out of our hearts.

I do hope you have a wonderful time at the Hospice banquet. Take your camera along. I'd love to see photos.

Blessings,
Mary

I haven't seen the new $1 coin yet. It is difficult enough to find the state quarters. I'm glad too that they didn't remove In God We Trust.

I'd love to hear about your hospice work. When my FIL was dying hospice was so helpful.

I am so glad that it is still located on the coin but I do feel that it is only a matter of time in our society. So sad.
