In Memory of Mr Wommack...

Beulah Land
I'm kind of homesick for a country to which I've never been before
no sad goodbyes will there be spoken and time won't matter anymore
Beulah Land I'm longing for you, and someday on thee I'll stand
There my home shall be eternal. In Beulah Land, Sweet Beulah land

I'm looking now across that river, to where my faith will end in sight
Theres just a few more days of labor, then I will take my heavenly flight
Beulah Land I'm longing for you, and someday on thee I'll stand
There my home shall be eternal. In Beulah Land, Sweet Beulah land
In Beulah Land, Sweet Beulah land
In loving Memory of Mr. Bobby Wommack

I've slacked on my blogs the last few days.I've just been busy and didn't really have much to say. It's still sort of that way now.. We had some sad news. An old gentleman that goes to my church ,was hit by a car on Friday, while crossing the highway to get the mail.. He was in the early stages of Alzheimer's Disease, and he walked out in front of an oncoming vehicle. So So sad. He and his wife had been married 61 years. They were always together..... If you saw him, you would see her too. His wife is just devastated , of course.. Please keep the families and the lady that was driving the vehicle, in your thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine...

I hope all of you are having a good week so far.. It stopped raining, but it's supposed to start up again tonight..

Bunches of hugs!

I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Wommack. My heart goes out to his wife and the driver of the car that struck him. Imagine being married for more than 60 years!

Oh, Stephanie, this is just so terribly sad! My prayers for his dear wife of 61 years, and for the driver, who I'm sure was devastated as well. May Mr. Wommack rest in God's peace.

Take care!

My heart goes out to these families. What a terrible tragic way to die.

Oh, how very sad that is!

(It reminded me of the death a few years back of one of our favorite older church members. He was killed walking home from church; he lived right across the street. He and his wife had been married over 60 years too. It was just devastating.)

I will be thinking of them in my prayers.

I hope you have a wonderful night!

Good Morning Stephanie,
That is such a sad thing that happened to Mr. Wommack. I just know his wife is devastated. That is a long time to be together. I will keep the Family in my prayers. Don't feel bad about not blogging my friend. Here lately, I have been a bad blogger myself. I just don't have the "want to" to blog or visit. I don't know if it's due to all the rains we have been having and being gloomy most days or I'm just losing interest. I don't seem to have alot to talk about either. We are suppose to have a severe weather outbreak here tomorrow and tomorrow night. All the weather models are saying possibly tornadoes. I sure hope not. We have had more than our share of rain this year already. I enjoyed your post about "If Women Controlled the World". LOL. I must say the Manogram is my favorite. LOL. "THANK YOU" for sharing that with us. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I will pray for everyone concerned in this sad accident. Mr. Wommack is the winner in this, but those left behind mourn.

Please also pray for our family as my 93 year old MIL is very ill. She is the center of our family and we love her so dearly.

Have a good week.

Hi, I've visiting you from Lazy Blogger's site :)

I'm so sorry to hear of this tragic accident. My dad had alzhiemers the last 3 years of his life and we had to take many precautions with him until he went into a nursing home. It's sad to see a mind go like that, and sadder that things like this happen to people. My thoughts are with his wife and church family.
