Happy 4th Of July!

I hope all of you have a safe and Happy 4th of July. My daughter should be home from camp in about an hour.
She wanted a Cake-size cookie instead of a Birthday cake, so we have it for her.. and some other stuff too..
The church is having a Youth against Adult softball game this evening, complete with the cookout and the fireworks afterward.
I think we will probably go to that. There will also be the Freedom Fest tonight in Ripley, so there will be plenty of fireworks around here..
There were some people shooting them out by the lake last night..
The lake behind our house has several people fishing right now..

Whatever you do this weekend, Please stay safe and take extra precautions this holiday weekend!
Bunches of hugs!

Stephanie

Souns like you'll be having a great day, but the best part will be your daughter getting home from camp. It's raining here and looks like it may rain all day.

Hi Stephanie!

Been meaning to tell you....I love this song you have on your blog. What is the title? It sounds like one of Barry Manilow's songs, but I know it's not him singing it. I'm getting old and don't keep up with the new ones anymore. I'm not much into music except country, mostly Vince Gill. Have you ever listened to his "Look at Us?" It goes..."Look at us, after all these years together...."

Sounds like your 4th was going to be a good one! I was tired out from working all night with no sleep 2 nights in a row for my job that I was really too tired to do much. Went to my daughter's for a cookout, had a pretty good rain shower and it was just so hot and muggy! Eating always makes me tired! I came home, took care of all my cats and sat down and fell asleep! Holidays are like thay when you get older. LOL

Have a great Sunday!

Stephanie,

Hope you and your family had a nice Holiday - it was good here in Marietta...:)

Birthday cookies have been in style for awhile - it's what my sister prefers. But I think cake will always be the tradition.

I'll be 20 again in August -
I'm going to start going for the cookie.....
