Well, We had a nice weekend. My husband and son put in our new hot water heater. It's great. We don't have to wait for the water to heat back up like before. We have plenty.. They are supposed to clean my carpet on Wednesday, so we should be back to normal by then. They are replacing the padding where it flooded..
Saturday, after they took away their big fans, We went to Olive Branch to the new Target and then to Southaven to get the kids shoes at Finishline. After that, we took them to Chuck E. Cheese's for pizza and We did have fun.. then Sunday was our family reunion.. We saw the usual ones there, some we only see once a year.. Everyone seemed to be doing fine... There was plenty of food and fellowship.. When we got home, we relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the day. My daughter is leaving this afternoon to go on a camping trip with her Sunday school class. They will come back on Wednesday.

All in all, it was a very nice weekend.. I hope all of you had a good one too...
Bunches of hugs....

If cleanliness is next to Godliness, then a new water heater is an appliance revival. Enjoy those long showers!

I hope your hot water woes and mess are over for good. Makes me glad mine's in the basement. We were in Northridge during the 1994 earthquake and I remember what a mess the water heater made that day so I have a TON of empathy for you.

Glad you're almost all cleaned up from the leaky water heater. Mine died summer before last and had to be replaced.

We drive to the Red Lobster at Southaven! I like it better than the one at Wolfchase mall and there's less city traffic to deal with.

Take care in this stifling heat and humidity! Ick!

Have a good week. ;o)

Love and hugs,

I'm sure getting the new water heater was like a holiday! Nothing worse than a water incident.

Happy you had a great weekend. Prayers for your daughter's safety on her camping trip. I'm sure it'll be a blast!

One more day, and you'll be back to normal! I know you are happy to have the new tank in!

Sounds like you had a great weekend! sounds good! Maybe I'll make one of my personal sized ones for supper. I have worked all day and have a long night ahead of me yet!

Trying to sneak in a blog here and there as I am so far behind. The last week of each month is "crunch" time for my job so I have to stick to my job then.....and I would much rather read blogs! LOL

Hi stephanie!
First of all, glad to hear you got a new water heater :). I hope you're enjoying your summer as well. I know it's a little bit early to get started on "Back to School" stuff, but I wanted to extend an invite to you in case you might be interested in a campaign we're working on for Boxtops for Education.
I’m working with a marketing agency that’s been hired to help spread the word about the unique Box Tops for Education program & how every purchase via Marketplace helps fund local schools.

Through Box Tops for Education’s online Marketplace program, schools can earn up to $20,000 apiece each year by shopping online at the more than 70 stores that participate – all at no extra cost to the consumer.

If you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to send you a $50 gift card to redeem at the Box Tops Marketplace, and enhance your first experience shopping via the site.

We hope that you will share your experience & encourage further support for education with your readers through your blog.

Thanks so much, and I hope to hear back from you soon! :)

We sooooooo need a new hot water heater........ but we need to put in a whole house filter first.....our water here is soooooooooo hard....... Tanks do not last more than a couple of years!

Take time out from your busy day and come over and put your name in the pool pot! I have things to give away!
