Counting my blessings !

My husband came on Monday evening and told me that the trucking company closed their doors.
I have to tell you.. This may be a blessing in disguise, because they still haven't paid him for about $400 in tolls from going into New York from the last few trips.. It's funny, this time, I don't feel so devastated, because I know that God will see us though... I'm not as afraid anymore.
Still.. Please keep us in your prayers..

Maybe I'm numb... I don't know... I know that I feel good today.. It might be that it's stopped raining and the cooler weather is here. I just want to thank the good Lord, for all the blessings he has given me. I know that things could always be worse.. I'm counting my blessings...
Maybe I can blog a little more. .

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. I'm trying to get updated.

Bunches of hugs...

Im sure God has something else in mind for your husband and your family! Just keep praying and trusting in God and he will take care of you. Your blog looks nice! Have a great week and enjoy this beautiful fall weather! I just came home with 2 huge beautiful mums for my front porch!

Counting our blessings even through tough times, reminds us just how much we have to be thankful for. My mantra whenever I get worried about things is "I'm too blessed to be stressed."

Our weather has turned so gorgeous, and Fall is definitely here. Like you, I love Fall, I just don't love what follows it.

Happy October, Stephanie!

Hugs and prayers,

Renie

Steph,

Sorry to hear about this. But the job situation is getting bad for everyone. My brother is also an OTR driver, I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten laid off yet.

Keep up you good spirits, yes I'm sure (like Patti above) that there is something else for you and family.

The weather is sooo nice, in a few weeks the colors will be beautiful.

I will be praying for you and your family. My friends and I had a discussion just this week about how God blesses us in our times of trial.

You are much in my prayers.

What a wonderful attitude you are having. We absolutely must count our blessings, shouldn't we?

Still will be praying, though, that everythign will work out with your husband's job hunting.

I didn't get this soon enough! How are you feeling now? Any progress on a new job?

Stephanie,

I have added you to my prayer list. Please pray for us as well. Hubby had a mini stroke and is out of work. This puts us in a very vunerable position financially. We must trust that God will provide.

Blessings,
Mary
