Getting ready for the Holidays

We are slowly coming up on the holidays. I am looking forward to a couple of days off of work and I know the kids are ready to be out of school for a week. It's been gorgeous weather here lately. I hope all is well. Darrell was off a few days and we did some Fall cleaning around the house..I'm trying to fight a cold that has been on me for a couple of weeks.

We got a gift certificate for a Honeybaked Ham company turkey breast, so I am planning on going to Tupelo before Thanksgiving to redeem that. I'm sure it will be good.

I am so ready to Christmas Shop. Aren't you?

Bunches of hugs!

In Canada we have thanksgiving in October. It's always a holiday filled with food :) I think probably more food than at Christmas, though not as many sweets.

As far as Christmas shopping . . . almost done :)!!

The turkey breast looks yummy. I just bought my thanksgiving turkey. Our local Wegman's had turkeys for $.34 per pound.

Your peach cobbler looks yummy.
