Planning for Christmas Eve!

The weekend was nice.Friday night,All of us went out to eat with Darrell's brother and his mother.... and then Christmas Shopping.. Saturday, went Christmas Shopping.. Saturday night, went the the Singing Christmas Tree at the First Baptist church. It was really beautiful. My sister was in it.. We enjoy going every year. Then yesterday morning, Our church had their Christmas Contata..
Tonight, Jonah is spending the night with a friend, and Kristen went to see Charlotte's Web , with her Sunday School class.
Next Sunday, Christmas Eve, this house will be full of family( My husband's side).. Since there are so many, It won't be a sit down meal.It will be more or less finger foods and good conversations...
The way the weather has been, we may put the patio table outside...
Figuring out what goodies to serve will be my project... I'm usually pretty good at being hostess.. The main thing is to get the house in order..and keeping it in order...
Wish me luck.. and have a very Merry Christmas week....

"Getting it in order, and keeping it in order."

yea! good luck with that! I would keep a list up so that everyone knows what extra duties they have, if they can't keep it straightened up. HA!

and that prolly wouldnt work either.

sounds like you are going to have a wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas!

Oh, good luck getting everything ready!!! I know it will be just wonderful!! I thin kthat finger foods are a wonderful idea. Makes it so much easier. And, like you said, it's really the people and the conversation that make it special!! You'll have to give us an update, of course!
All of the Christmas activities sound wonderful!! My parents' church does a Living Christmas Tree and it's always so cool!

Best of luck to you with your Christmas party! Sounds like you have everything well-planned, and even if the house isn't exactly as orderly as you would like it to be, what's important is the conversation. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and Merry Christmas!
